about

"Storms of Days After is an exploration of my fear of death, a tribute to fallen poets, thinkers, and artists, and an attempt at consolation through creation." - Dixon Hill

This is Hill's 5th instrumental release and it marks conceptual departure from his critically acclaimed Holodeck Series. Moody and reflective instrumentals invite the listener to join Hill on the path to catharsis.

Having struggled with suicidal thoughts and a crippling fear of death for many years, Hill crafted this album during some of the darkest moments of his life, in an attempt to find the inner peace to live within this paradox and the resolve to face its inevitable conclusion.
